A bright flat with a rooftop terrace in the heart of San Marcello Pistoiese, 650 metres up in the Apennines, just over an hour from Florence. Everything within walking distance, and dinner outdoors under the pergola.
The flat
Third floor with a lift, and above it only the sky.
A living room with fireplace and sofa bed, a kitchen with dining table, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a window. And the rooftop terrace, as big as an extra room: that is where the days go by.
The flat faces three sides, so a breeze moves through it even on the warmest days. From the terrace you look out over the woods and mountains around the village.

Can we rent for less than a month?
Not in summer: July and August are let by the whole month only, from the 1st to the 31st (30 nights). At other times of year we are happy to discuss shorter or longer stays.
How many people can stay?
Up to four: a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed with a memory foam mattress in the living room. Ideal for a couple, or grandparents with two grandchildren.
Is there a lift?
Yes, the lift goes up to the third floor, where the flat is.
Where can we park?
The flat has no private parking space: there is a public car park a short walk from the front door. Day to day you won't need the car: shops, hospital, post office and square are all within walking distance.
Is there air conditioning?
No, and in San Marcello it is rarely needed: the flat faces three sides, so air flows through, and evenings are cool. Fans are provided for the warmest days.
